This Privacy Policy explains what information the Exotic Car Dex Discord bot (the "Bot") collects, why we collect it, and how you can control it. By using the Bot you agree to the practices described here.
1. What we collect
- Discord user ID — used to identify your player profile and link your balance, collection, and game history.
- Game data — cars you own, their stats, credits and transaction history, daily rewards, race results, and market listings.
- Server data — limited identifiers (server and channel IDs) needed for the Bot to function (e.g., catching spawns, command handling).
We do not collect or store messages, voice data, or any personal information such as your name or email.
2. Why we collect it
We use this data solely to operate the Bot: track your collection, balance your credits, run the leaderboard, process market trades, and prevent abuse such as farming or exploits.
3. How we store it
Data is stored in a private database controlled by the Bot operators. It is retained while your player account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Reasonable security measures protect the data from unauthorized access.
4. Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Data is only disclosed if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of the community.
5. Public data
Aggregate or pseudonymous data — such as your Discord ID and credit balance appearing on the public leaderboard, or market listing prices on the Website — is considered public. No other profile information is published.
6. Your rights
- Access & correction — view your profile anytime in Discord with
/player info. - Deletion — contact server staff to request deletion of your player data. Deleting your account removes your collection, credits, and history.
- Stop using the service — you can stop using the Bot at any time; request data removal as described above.
7. Children
The Bot is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us data, contact staff and we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page, and continued use of the Bot after changes means you accept the updated policy.
