Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Exotic Car Dex Discord bot (the "Bot") and the Exotic Car Dex website (the "Website"). The Bot and the Website together are referred to as the "Service". By using the Bot or the Website, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully, together with our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to use Discord in your jurisdiction, to use the Bot, in line with Discord's Terms of Service. By using the Bot you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are below the applicable minimum age, please do not use the Service.

2. The service

The Bot is a free-to-play collection and racing game for Discord servers. It lets you catch virtual cars, earn in-game credits, open packs, race other players, fight boss battles, and trade on a community market.

Credits, cars, and all other items in the Bot are virtual. They have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real money or other real-world consideration, and may be changed, reset, or removed by the operators at any time without notice. Any perceived "value" of virtual items exists only within the Service.

3. Acceptable use

When using the Bot and Website you agree not to:

• Exploit bugs, errors, or design flaws in the Bot;
• Automate the Bot using scripts, macros, self-bots, or any other unauthorized automation;
• Use multiple accounts to farm rewards or evade limits or sanctions;
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other players, staff, or community members;
• Attempt to access, modify, or extract data you are not authorized to access;
• Disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Bot's infrastructure, the Website, or the Discord servers where the Bot operates;
• Resell or transfer your account or virtual items outside the Service in exchange for real money.

Violating these rules may result in a warning, suspension, or permanent ban from the Bot, without refund of any virtual items or credits.

4. User conduct & moderation

Server staff and the Bot operators may moderate gameplay, adjust balances, remove listings, or take disciplinary action as they see fit to keep the game fair and fun. All moderation decisions are final.

5. Intellectual property

The Bot, Website, and their underlying software are provided as a service. Names, artwork, and other content submitted through the /suggest command may be added to the game and used by the operators in connection with the Service. By submitting a suggestion you confirm that you have the right to grant this use.

6. Changes to the service

We may update the Bot's features, economy, commands, and pricing at any time. We may also change these Terms; the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version. Continued use of the Bot after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Bot at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Bot for any user at our discretion, including for violating these Terms. Upon termination, virtual items and credits held by the account are forfeited.

8. Disclaimer & liability

The Bot and Website are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators are not liable for any loss, damage, or disruption arising from use of the Bot or Website, including loss of virtual items, data, or service interruptions.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operators' jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts for any dispute arising out of these Terms.
